Type 1 M.O.T. - prices from £27 + VAT per tonne

 

Often referred to as either MOT or TYPE 1,  it is an approved granular sub-base material. Not to be confused with Type 1 crushed concrete, although for the same purpose this is a better product due to its recycled nature containing a lot more fines (dust). Type 1 can also be constructed of many other rocks such as granite or gritstone as well as slag or other hard inert materials.

 

 

 

3'' Crushed Concrete - prices from £15 + VAT per tonne

 

This is produced by recycling waste materials from construction and demolition projects. It’s perfect for trench fills, back fills, over-site fills and as granular sub-base for deeper areas over 150mm.

 

 

 

 

 

Type 1 M.O.T. Limestone - prices from £27 + VAT per tonne

 

This is a high quality fill or sub-base material, often used for the construction of car parks, driveways and highways.

Limestone is still often used for paths and patios, although slightly more exspensive, it tends to be more solid and stable both immediately and over time.

 

 

 

 

Type 1 Crushed Concrete - prices from £18 + VAT per tonne

 

This is produced by recycling waste materials from construction and demolition projects. It is ideal for use in trench fills, backfills, over-site fills, or as a granular sub-base for driveways, pathways etc.
